KIELDER WATER IS OUR BOAT FISHERY, AND WITH OVER 2,000 ACRES OF WATER TO EXPLORE YOU CAN TRY A DIFFERENT SPOT EVERY TIME YOU FISH.

With a fleet of 15 fully equipped motor boats, the huge lake offers exhilarating fishing for both enthusiast and competition anglers alike. Bank anglers are also spoilt for choice when it comes to choosing a spot to fish with access to around 20 miles of shoreline along the Lakeside Way. Please check with the on site rangers for further details.

Environment Agency licences are available to buy at Kielder Waterside. Please note, only one rod is allowed per licence. Permits are available from Kielder Waterside from 7.00am and Tower Knowe Visitor Centre from 10.00am daily during April to October.

Bring along the family for the day as there is plenty for everyone to enjoy.

Leaplish Waterside Park – Boat Inn restaurant and bar serves coffee, drinks, lunch and evening meals. It has an indoor pool and sauna, children’s play areas, shop, ferry rides, Kielder Water birds of prey centre and mini golf.

Tower Knowe Visitor Centre – Café on the water, souvenir shop and interactive exhibition.
